Abstract:
E. Zamyatin’s, G. Orwell’s and A. Huxley’s dystopias portray the mood of the present and future visions similarly. This trilogy can be called “the dystopia of the mid-twentieth century”. An important point of all the three dystopias is to portray not only the future which we are approaching, but also to explain the historical paradox. All these three dystopias are warning novels revealing the entire human danger of losing individuality arising in the consequences of technocratic thinking.
Keywords: E. Zamyatin, A. Huxley, G. Orwell, dystopian novel, personality, society
