Abstract:

One of the important directions of cultural construction of Belarus in the second half of the 1940s-early 1950s was the restoration and development of secondary school and providing it with qualified personnel. Pedagogical educational institutions could not solve the personnel issue that were opened after the war. Therefore, the main role in the training of teachers was given to numerous courses. Despite the measures taken, in general education schools, especially in the western regions of Belarus, there was a shortage of teachers, they had low qualification level, short period of work, which was caused by economic problems and difficulties of post-war life.
