Abstract:

The training of highly qualified specialists is an important strategic task, including in the field of medicine. The fulfillment of research work in the framework of extracurricular activities contributes students to the formation of the necessary competences to carry out further professional activities. In accordance with modern requirements, the medical university develops a program to attract students to scientific work, provides the process of performing scientific research, which contributes to the formation of students´ cognitive interest, the development of analytical and creative thinking. The article presents the experience of TGMU in attracting medical students to scientific work.
