Abstract:

The article shows the importance of the speaker, his/her speech and listeners for communication. Despite the fact that there are many basic concepts and the system of rhetoric itself was formulated in Antiquity, the methods, techniques and ways that it uses to achieve the goal are still relevant today. Public speech occupies an important place in the social life of every person, eloquence is no longer viewed as an art, today it is already a way to achieve goals.
